Monday on the Floor
So I had a good hair day and wore my hair down. That will come into play later. I was on the floor, as the title implies, so I was able to cross off a lot of things on my checklist. I really enjoyed shadowing that day because it was actually fun. I learned a lot as well. We had this patient who came in to get compression socks in the afternoon. Now the employee is very outspoken and loud, but always to the point. The woman comes in saying what she needs, and the employee asks if she has a prescription. The lady starts to cop an attitude and yell saying how she had gotten these before and doesn’t understand why she needs a prescription. The employee was just telling her if she wanted insurance to cover them, she needed a script. But that really didn’t matter because we didn’t take her insurance anyway. So she got fitted and continued to be snippy with her attitude. But she did end up buying the socks, so it all worked out. After that, I took lunch then worked on some projects I had (I think; I honestly don’t remember). The rest of the day was uneventful, obviously, because I can’t even remember what happened. I will update if I can remember anything else. I probably won’t; no good lying to myself.
