Is a Day Off Ever Really a Day Off?
I had made some grocery lists and gathered all the shit I had to return. I also went to go see a place in the morning. Decent enough place, but one of the bedrooms was way too small for an adult to live in. I will say though, it was nice to be back in the old neighborhood. I really like where we lived this past year, it was just far from a lot of things. I went to Goodwill too to finally drop off the rest of the stuff I had. I went to Costco. On a Sunday. Because I have a death sentence. Actually, it wasn’t all that bad inside, just trying to find the parking was a nightmare. So I went to about 10 other places, dropped off all my stuff at home, then went to drop off the rental at the airport (3 hours early, I may add). I am so glad it ended up working out with the car. I was able to get so much done. I really feel like I could benefit from having a car up here, but we’ll see what happens. On the way home, I ordered Olive Garden because I was going to start my diet the next day. I made a couple of quick dishes so I had something to bring with me for lunch. This diet is basically a lot of whole foods, and NO SALT. When I got to the OG, my food wasn’t ready, because the train was surprisingly on time. So I was about 10 min early. People just kept coming in and the line for take out got longer, then it started raining. I had just missed the bus once I had actually gotten my food, so I ended up taking an Uber home. I cooked, ate, showered, and went to bed.
