True Intern Work

So I had the intention to catch the early train this day because I hated walking into the meeting last week late. I just didn’t leave the house in time for the bus, so I had to wait for the next train. I’m truthfully not sure if it was intentional or unintentional, but here we are. So I walked in a few minutes late, but at least I looked good and was having a good hair day. They had already started the meeting, so I sat down, and apologized for being late. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I really hate being late. After I said I was sorry, the boss said, “did anyone jump down your throat? It’s ok. And you look very pretty today.” Well then. We’re good. So we went through the meeting and of course I got some more work to do. I was gifted (exaggerating) with making 2 flyers for them to distribute to doctors. While I’m doing them, it seems just like busy work, but honestly right now (Saturday night) thinking back on it, it’s kind of cool to have my name on something like that. Went over the flyers with the boss and I was getting ready to have lunch. Then the sales guy comes over to me while I’m working and asks if I am still doing marketing stuff. I look at him and say, ‘yeah?’ And then he brings me stacks of paper and envelopes. Remember that list I made of the doctors a few weeks ago? Well boy, did that come back to bite me in the ass. I had to stuff envelopes and then address them to these doctors. 88 times...EIGHTY EIGHT. So as I am sitting there, the boss says goodbye to everyone (not me) because he was leaving to go get his Tesla he had bought the week before. So I rushed to finish my shit because if he wasn’t there, I felt like I didn’t need to be either, since I directly work with him Wednesday’s. I finished up what I was doing, then I left when I was done. Then I went home, probably played Just Dance for a bit (when I am not in the lab, I don’t usually stand all day, so I needed more activity), then went to bed.
