So mom and I knew we would have my goddaughter in the morning, but we weren’t sure what time she was getting dropped off. I woke up around 5:30 because I was excited to get her, but she didn’t get dropped off until about 2 hours later. We played a little bit and watched her favorite, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Once my grandma called us, we went to pick her up and went for breakfast. She behaved really well, but didn’t eat much. To clarify, I mean my goddaughter; my grandma may be little, but the woman can eat. Once we left breakfast, we went to Burlington for a while. It was approaching nap time, so she was a little cranky, but nothing unbearable. While my mom checked out, I brought her to the car and changed her pull up because she had peed. We headed home then her daddy came to pick her up for a nap.
Once she left, we kind of chilled for a bit until I had to go to dinner with another friend. Maybe we did something in between that time, but I really don’t remember. OH...yes I do. We got word that my grandma’s cousin had fallen and broken her hip the day before, so they were waiting for her to go in for surgery. She has dementia, so recovery is going to be long and difficult, I’m sure. So my mom took my grandma to see her, so I was home without the car and either napped or watched more Riverdale to wait for her to get back so I could use the car to meet up with my friend. I ended up being a little late to meet my friend, but the place was a cool place. Talked a bunch with her. I can relate to her because she’s a pharmacist with CVS, so I get her horror stories. Once we were done, I stopped by the store to pick out some fun things for a few upcoming art projects. I truly can’t wait to have more free time during this last year to be able to have my hobbies flourish again. Thought I was going to be meeting up with someone for drinks later on, but I fell asleep because I am a terrible human being. So yeah, onto the next one.
